Summer Afterglow captures the fleeting beauty of sunset light over water - reeds, water lilies, and reflections that seem to exist only for a moment before they disappear. Soft blue, lavender, blush, and golden tones meet deep greens in a luminous composition that feels quieter, softer, and slightly bittersweet. The contrast between the glowing centre and the darker edges gives the piece depth and atmosphere, while the textured oil pastel surface adds softness and subtle movement.
Part of the Summer Edition, Summer Afterglow is inspired by water, shifting light, and the quiet emotion they bring to a space. Designed to add calm, depth, and understated refinement, it brings a soft atmospheric presence to an interior.
Details & dimensions
Styling suggestion: Summer Afterglow works especially beautifully in calm, light-filled interiors - such as a bedroom, hallway, reading corner, or above a small console. It pairs effortlessly with linen, light wood, soft stone, and tonal decor, where it can bring a gentle sense of stillness, depth, and refinement to the room.

Material & framing
Created with richly layered oil pastels on raw, heavyweight cotton canvas, the artwork is signed and dated by hand and presented in a professionally crafted natural maple object frame. The piece is float-mounted behind scratch-resistant acrylic glazing, giving it a clean, elevated finish while helping to protect its delicate surface. The back is fitted with professional hanging hardware and wall protectors, allowing for flexible presentation - whether hung on the wall, styled on a shelf, or placed flat.
