Season's Turning captures the calm stillness of a lily pond in muted evening light, suspended in that quiet moment between late summer and early autumn. Soft aqua, deep blue, moss green, and delicate blush accents create a luminous composition of floating lily pads, quiet reeds, and three small blooms at its centre. The contrast between the darker right edge and the open, lighter middle gives the piece a serene, spacious atmosphere, while the textured oil pastel surface adds depth and gentle movement.
